Happy New Year! The #CorporateTransparencyAct implementation has now finally arrived, and #FinCEN has opened up their online filing system today. I just obtained my #FinCENID - a unique identification number that ties to my personal information. After entering my contact information and uploading a copy of my government issued photo identification document (US Passport, Driver's License, or State Identification Card), the number was issued immediately. I highly recommend anyone who owns or controls a small business to obtain a #FinCENID, to better protect the privacy of their contact information by going to: https://lnkd.in/enxgVisx This #FinCENID can be used for the required filings for each business entity, rather than having to share all of your personal identification information with the attorney, accountant, or administrator who is making the filing on behalf of the business.
