These inspiring individuals, aged 14-18, are developing innovative solutions to financial and societal challenges around topics like climate change, mental health services, and refugee assistance. This Global Volunteer Month, we’re thrilled to spotlight the work of Mary Ann Jackson, VP in our finance and actuarial community. Mary Ann has a long history of serving on the boards of non-profits and her most recent role as chair of the board of the United Way of Greater Newark came to her through a Prudential program, Building Diverse Leaders and Boards. Prudential developed the program in 2019 to address the fact that more than 80% of nonprofit boards do not represent the communities they serve and since then, has helped place 45 employees on nonprofit boards.
