Happy Bike to Work Day to all who celebrate! And many people celebrate here in Rosslyn! Gateway Park hosts the largest pit stop in the region, and we welcome more than cyclists on their commute. We are happy to see newly elected County Board members Maureen Coffey and Susan Cunningham stop by! Thanks to BikeArlington for bringing these community partners together at the park. And shout-out to everyone at the larger Arlington Transportation Partners for promoting all commuting options in the County throughout the year. #BiketoWorkDay #BTWD #TDM

About us
In the heart of the D.C. area, Rosslyn’s convenient location, prominent companies and engaging community events drive the business and social interactions that foster a dynamic community and define Rosslyn as Arlington’s premier urban center. More than 20,000 employees work here in businesses ranging from locally grown, innovative startups to globally-recognized, Fortune 500 companies. Just across the river from D.C., this neighborhood sits at the nexus of several roadways, bike trails, and transit lines with direct links to major airports and easy access to the entire metro area. As a result, Rosslyn is a hub for social and economic activity. Since 2001, the Rosslyn Business Improvement District (BID) has worked to improve the neighborhood and directly support the area’s businesses, employees and residents. We take an active leadership role as a change agent, connector, and community builder to serve our stakeholders. Through neighborhood events, promotional efforts, a robust hospitality team, and close partnership with Arlington County, we support the continued development of this vibrant neighborhood.

We are proud of our Ambassadors every day. And we want to recognize the achievement of our Ambassador Operations Manager Alicia Duenas! She was recognized as the "Rookie of the Year" by Block by Block! Her exemplary performance on the streets and her commitment to their organizational values have been truly commendable. In October 2016, Alicia Duenas started working with the BID as a Cleaning Ambassador. Her leadership and long-time dedication was recognized when she was promoted to her current role. It is great to be able to promote from within, as her years of experience around the streets of Rosslyn is unmatched! Congratulations! #BlockbyBlock #Ambassadors #staffappreciation

Graham Holdings Company, whose operations include a variety of services from education and health to media and hospitality, is moving their Rosslyn headquarters from 1300 17th Street to 1812 N Moore Street. "Class A and top-tier rated trophy office buildings in the D.C. area have fared much better than the overall D.C. area office market, where vacancy rates are at or near record highs. Newer and amenity-rich buildings remain at a premium given the limited supply in the market, according to 1812 North Moore developer Monday Properties." via WTOP News #CRE #HQrelocation #officebuildings
