Ben Nielsen's Skyline Automotive continues to earn and keep my business by providing outstanding customer service and demonstrating their automotive repair skills by keeping my vehicles operating safely at a fair price. I took my 2011 Ford F-150 with 128,300 miles to Ben Nielsen's Skyline Automotive knowing my truck had many things that were not working or were not working properly. After receiving their estimate, I thought about getting rid of my truck. I even got an estimate from CarMax. It was a difficult decision but, based on my confidence in Ben Nielsen's Skyline Automotive (established by over 14 years as a satisfied customer), I decided to have Ben Nielsen's Skyline Automotive repair my truck. Led by Cody, the Service Advisor, and Walter and Eddie, the Technicians, I was kept updated on the repairs and consulted before every decision. Cody worked to keep my costs down (he applied a COSTCO auto repair discount that, as a COSTCO member, I did not know COSTCO offered; he located a used, low-mileage drive shaft vs a new one). Since the repairs, I have driven my truck more than 3,000 miles and hauled thousands of pounds of cargo. The truck drives great. I have confidence and enjoy driving my truck again. I trust these guys and I continue to be a satisfied customer. I highly recommend Ben Nielsen's Skyline Automotive.

I went in there to get spark plugs changed on a v6 mustang. Lets talk about how hard that is. my manifold comes off with 7 screws and a few airlines, then you loosen it from the intake. then you have access to all 6 of my coil packs and spark plugs. Sounds simple , right? Not for this shop.

They wanted 974$ to install 45$ worth of parts. where the other 900$ ? let me tell you , they wanted the car for 4 hours to do this job. unnecessary, price gouging labor costs. I've never felt so insulted by a quote in my life. and on top of they , the guy at the desk initially told me to just leave my car. man if i did that and someone told me "oh , that'll be 1000$" I'd lose my mind.

If you want to throw your money away, you're better off flushing it down the toilet. Maybe then someone could find it one day and be blessed. I will NEVER come back to this automotive shop for anything whatsoever and if you guys value your money I suggest you do the same

Highly recommend! I don't have a single bad thing to say about Ben Nielsen's Skyline Automotive. I was recommended to Ben's through word of mouth. My jeep has been making some odd noises the last few months. I brought my Jeep in after bringing it to two other shops that couldn't figure out what was. Immediately they jumped in the car with me so I could replicate the sound. As a woman, it's hard to find a good shop where they take you seriously.
I truly recommend this shop and I'll definitely be coming back.

I had been coming here as they are rated high, but you're going to have to pay for it. I was given a quote of ~1,900 for the requested work. I went somewhere else and got it done less than $1k. Not to mention you have to bring your vehicle to them for the quote. Unsure why they have this policy when my truck was just parked on the side of the road in front of the shop all day...

Do not take your car here. We brought our car for a small repair. Car was at the shop for over two weeks. We tried to call to get an update. They never called us back. Finally we decided to take our car somewhere else. We came to pick up our car and it turned out that they lost our keys. Awful service!

Been a customer for many years and I wouldn't go anywhere else with my cars! Trustworthy, excellent communication, and fair prices. The pick up and drop off services are a huge differentiator when you have a busy schedule. They provide a great top to bottom analysis of your car (along with pictures) and never hard sell you on work you may not need. Ben and his crew are some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet and their dedication to customer service shows.

I reached out to Ben about a radio issue I had been having with my car and without hesitation, told me to bring my car in and that they'd take a look at it. He even offered to have them come and pick my car up so I wouldn't have to drop it off. When I came by the shop, they were very busy that morning and even without an apt., they were able to not only look at my car but fix my radio issue all within about 30 mins. of me getting there. Everyone I came into contact with (Katie, Mike, and especially Troy who was the mechanic who saved the day!) were unbelievably professional and instantly made you feel like family. I felt completely heard and taken care of and that hasn't always been my experience at auto shops. I would HIGHLY recommend you take any of your auto needs to Ben Nielsen Automotive and let them treat you like family too!!!

WARNING: This is my adventure with Skyline Automotive.

Day 1: I had brought my car in to be inspected to figure out the issues that are wrong with my car.

Day 2: received phone call stating there were issues with control arm, tire rods, oil gasket leak. Was told with labor and parts the total cost would be 3.5k+. This seemed extremely outrageous, especially when quoted 1k to change the oil pan gasket. I responded with I will take my car home and chose not to get service. When going to pick up my car they were unable to give me back my key as it was locked in a lockbox only accessible by the mechanic who would not be in for days. They then agreed to mail
Me my keys back ( I live only 7 minutes drive away).

2 weeks later: weeks have gone by and I have yet to receive my key. I called complaining then they agreed to drive the key over next day. They did.

I ended up taking my car to a more trusted mechanic and they were able to fix my car for a total of 450$. There were no issues with the control arm only tire rods needed replaced. Also no oil pan gasket leak only sensor that was causing oil leak.

This shop tried to charge me outrageous price by making up issues that did not exists. Please be smart and chose a mechanic that will not rip you off. Sure they may have some good reviews, but these reviews go simply with brake changes and oil changes. Any hard professional work needed will run you thousands at this place. NOT WORTH IT. Take it somewhere else and avoid being ripped off.

This review is my personal opinion based on events that happened.

Called for an estimate on my car. They told me to come in pretty much the following week. Really busy on a holiday Monday yet they took the time to see my car and squeezed me in. Turned out my wheel bearings were rusted on (something I suspected). They waived the inspection fee but it was still pretty pricey. At the end of the day you do get what you pay for - good friendly service and no BS. There were other minor issues with my car that any other provider would have happily tried to overcharge me for but the service tech mentioned them and either knew I could get them done (battery change, wipers, etc) or was not a pressing issue.

Expect their prices to be on the higher end. For quality service, I'd recommend it.

First time going here to get an inspection. They treated me very respectfully and did the work needed. I love that they provide a ride to and fro to the station. This is now my go to auto repair station for and future work.
